The Silver Queen of the Crones

Out of the Hobbits’ Ancient Forest
Where the Enchanted trees survived,
Through a ghostly veil of mist
I could see her essence arrive.
I was struck numb by her stature
As her elegant form fast approached
Where I’d been harvesting my pasture
A surreal vision of the Queen of Crones.
I took pause to question my sanity
But I felt and heard her in my bones.
She was Amazing to behold, stunning and very very old;
Wearing silver ankle length angel’s hair
Astride a silver Clydesdale mare,
Wearing a silver cape and silver jewels,
Bearing a silver cup labeled simply “Renewal.”
“How can I pay honor to this vision”
My mind asked without spoken word
And my mind’s eye in turn then heard,
“Drink from this cup, it is the Holy Grail,
It is the Fountain of Youth,
It is the Alchemist’s Ale;
It is the drink of every dream
And it time for You to partake
So your soul can rest forever.”
And so I savored the silver stew, this
Exquisite concoction of witches’ brew;
And I joined the Universe that day.
Now I offer this cup to you.

Dare To Risk

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

To reach for another is to risk involvement.

To express your ideas, your dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss.

To live is to risk dying.

To believe is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

The people who risk nothing do nothing, have nothing, are nothing.

They may avoid suffering and sorrow but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, live.

Chained by their attitude, they are slaves, they have forfeited their freedom.

Only a person who risks is free……

You must believe in yourself at all times.  You must never lose faith that you are capable of doing anything in life you choose to do and you must always choose the highest.  It is not enough for you to choose that you must achieve excellence.  For you must believe in yourself enough to accomplish that which others cannot accomplish.

To believe in yourself, you must have courage that exceeds the need for the consideration of courage.  It must be a natural part of your life that avoids any need for decision-making based on whether you have courage to do that which you must.  This must be a belief beyond personal questioning, beyond personal doubt, to a point when it can no longer be considered courage but rather a way of life.  This shall be so, for you will believe in yourself.

You must have character that is beyond criticism and is a permanent part of yourself.  It is not imagined or pretended.  Every moment of your life must be naturally conducted with pride and dignity that cannot be confused with arrogance but recognized with respect. Your character must always contain compassion and concern for others. This concern will be genuine, for you will never lose sight of your background in trying to understand those you have difficulty in identifying with, for they are the majority of the world and the ones that need help the most. You must believe in yourself so that your character never bends, never compromises and is consistent. You must believe in your intellect that no task is beyond your ability to succeed. Your intellect is a gift that you shall not waste and shall not use to its greatest capacity.  You must have the patience and tolerance torealize that others will not always agree with or understand you. But rather than find fault, you shall try harder to reach them, for it shall become your responsibility to serve them.  This is your calling. You cannot question it. You must accept it.

Our Deepest Fear

Divine Appointment

“I haven’t forgotten…
I have a divine appointment…
It can’t be broken…
It can’t be missed…
it can’t be denied…
It can only be covered with illusions…
that obscure the light…
Now it’s revealed…
a place I find always…
in the home within the field…
an inner life that grows every time…
I just re-mind that it’s healed….
I’m here…
and again it is there…
becoming something intimate…
to me the world cannot compare…
Here and now are stronger…
in a bond beyond belief…
within a voice is fonder…
sending words to my relief…
To heal my wounds…
a purification complete….
No other appointment needed…
this divine soul to meet…
Brought down…to earth…
my garb was neatly fitted…
It spoke of Spirit and the trust…
I’d deeply been committed…
To keep all divine appointments…
so many being listed…
and no longer could I fail…
in those that I assisted….
So this life became that knowledge…
a knowing so profound…
of one heart in us beating…

Free to be You and Me Beloveds~~~

Terri Cole Whitaker is well known for saying “what you think of me is none of my business.” Think about this for a moment.

A lifelong journey for each of us, arriving at a place of “peace within” gained through surrender from a need to live up to others expectations. We choose to love ourselves first and to live from a place of joy and acceptance knowing everything is always in all ways, perfect and whole and exactly as it is meant to be. We all have quirks, so why not be ourselves? Besides, “everyone else is taken :)”

Someone has to be first in every situation to “go first, by being their authentic and transparent self.” By doing so we energetically give permission to others to do the same, honoring each individual as they manifest their magnificence into the world. We all benefit deeply from this gentle wave of acceptance and empowerment.

An Unquenchable Thirst

I possess an unquenchable thirst “to understand” and a veracious appetite for knowledge,”just show me one page of the answers, Creator, and I will put them under the burning bush for the next sojourner.”  Both my humanness and my bargaining make me smile. Oh humility!
